A little about Bob Brown ...

Bob Brown is a household name in the Syracuse area. During his 35 years in radio fans have enjoyed listening to him on WPAW, WNDR, WOLF, 93Q, WHYT Detroit, and WSEN. He was last heard on WFBL in the late 70s during the Fire 14 Hot Hit years and is excited to be returning to launch this new chapter for the station. Not only do people recognize his voice, his persona is well-known and admired for his many theatre roles - most notably as the title role in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, a role he performed for over 20 years. Bob has performed all over the world since making his international debut in Singapore as Michael in I DO!, I DO! He received critical acclaim during extremely successful runs in the National Tours of CAMELOT as King Arthur and FUNNY GIRL as Nicky Arnstein. He received rave reviews as Abel Frake in STATE FAIR for NY’s Gateway Playhouse and CT’s Candlewood Playhouse. He spent a few years in Florida during which he directed and starred in many productions and served as Production Coordinator for the Golden Apple Dinner Theatres in Sarasota and Venice. His talents have been recognized as the winner of two Clio awards and in the Hall of Fame for the SALT (Syracuse Area Live Theatre) Awards.

An avid pet lover, Bob has two golden retrievers, Molly and Garbo, and three cats, Spooky, Peanut, and Zach.
